The Stormy Rolls in!

I am someone who watches and reads numerous news stories to get to the bottom of a story and to ensure I am getting facts rather than conjecture or complete and unfounded opinion.  The one thing that has been flowing through media now for months is the Stormy Daniels story and subsequent lawsuit.

Michael Avenatti is Stormy Daniels' (Stephanie Clifford is her real name) lawyer, and he has been on the television hundreds of times throughout the past few months both keeping his client's lawsuit in the news and making many speculations about how different things in Washington happening within the Trump Administration and amongst those who have been targeted in the Robert Mueller Probe are all in many ways interconnected.  Everything that happens, to include Trump's new lawyer Rudy Giuliani going on his media throw up tour where he has done more harm for Trump than helped
Trump, has been playing into the hands of Michael Avenatti.

Michael Avenatti is no slouch, and he knows how to keep his cases viable.  He has had many very high profile cases over the years involving the NFL, Celebrities, Executives, Fortune 100 Companies, and now the most famous case of all, Stormy Daniels.

It seems as though since Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen's home, office, and hotel rooms were raided weeks ago, the Trump Inner Circle is struggling to write its own narrative.  The lies and deceit are beginning to come full circle, and stories are changing on a daily basis.  Trump stated after Rudy's news rampage where he brought new information to light regarding the Stormy Daniels situation that Rudy is new and getting used to the facts.  He said he will get the facts straight.  He also said the Stormy Daniels situation is simple.  My question is, if the facts are so simple, why can't Trump just tell the American People what the facts are instead of skirting around the facts with lie after lie about the entire scandal?

Why is it OK for Trump to literally lie every time he opens his mouth about anything, and every time he goes on his Twitter Rampages?  Why is any of this OK?

A person has to be completely blind to the facts to believe that this is all a 'Witch Hunt' as Trump often states when he speaks and tweets.  A person has to be completely uninformed to believe that none of the sexual allegations brought forward regarding Trump are true.  A person has to be devoid of a brain to believe that there weren't several shady deals going on throughout the campaign leading up to the 2016 election.

And yet, the base stands by their man.  Once again I want the supporters of Trump to do one thing for me.  Replace Trump with any former President in the modern era, and had any of those Presidents done and said the things Trump has, what would have happened to them?

They would have been ousted faster than the United States spends Taxpayer Dollars.

So why is it ok to lie and deceive now at a level never accomplished by any other President?

So in the end, Robert Mueller is going to come forth with his findings, which will be substantial.  People will go to prison.  That Probe will have branched off in numerous directions, as it has in the case of Michael Cohen, and those cases will close out resulting in Prison time and/or huge fines.  Some smaller fish will get off with less because they will roll on bigger fish to get smaller sentences. It seems like Michael Avenatti is just sitting back, enjoying the show, and ensuring his client that their day will come.  It may come after all of the dust settles, but Michael Avenatti will certainly get the conclusion he wants regarding his client's case.

In closing I will say that this entire situation is so unbelievable, I could write a movie script about it and Hollywood wouldn't buy it because it isn't realistic enough.  It is like a daily dose of an ongoing nightmare that won't stop.

Trump, just come clean, let us know what the truth is, show us your tax returns and financials, and move forward with some transparency.  You are doing yourself no favors going down the road you are currently on.

The great things that could be happening in Korea and with other major issues are going to be overshadowed by all of your scandals.

Trump and the DOJ Trying to Silence Mueller...

Mueller is set to sit in front of Congress on Wednesday this week and answer questions regarding the Mueller Investigation.  The DOJ, and organization that is supposed to look out for the best interests of America but has recently decided to become Trump's personal Law Firm, has sent correspondence to Mueller about what he can and cannot answer. For instance, you have the question of the 10 documented cases of obstruction in volume 2 of the report.  Mueller made it clear that he was bound by DOJ policy and could not indict a sitting president.  One very important question the Congressional Leadership will likely ask is, "If Donald Trump wasn't the sitting President, would you have indicted him based on the amount of evidence in the report?"  That question in every respect is fair.  You are asking the head of an investigation if they would have indicted someone had an arbitrary roadblock not been in place.  I say arbitrary roadblock because the policy is...

Let's talk about kids

So here we are, waiting patiently and watching what the government is doing to reunite children with their parents who have been separated at the border.  The government said all it would take was a few key strokes and they could immediately identify which children were where and get them reunited.  Interesting comment considering that we are now past the court mandated timeframe within which the government was mandated by the court to reunite the 102 children under the age of 5 with their parents.  They had a month to do it, and only managed to reunite around 54 children by the deadline.  They have resorted to taking DNA samples from children and parents to try to match them up in a database because the process they used to separate these children from their parents didn't take into consideration the reunification process, so in most cases they have no idea which children match up to which parents. Instead of the President taking a more compassionate approach to...

Technology, the Double Edged Sword

Technology is an amazing thing isn't it?  Look at the evolution of the computer.  Below I am providing a history of the evolution of the computer.  It is not all-inclusive, but does document some very important moments in history starting in 1801 and ending in 2017.  If you aren't a huge reader, you can jump past the history lesson to the remainder of my blog below, but it is very interesting and I recommend you read through it.  In France in 1801, Joseph Marie Jacquard invented a loom that used punched wooden cards to automatically weave fabric designs.  Early computers would use similar punch cards. In 1822, an English Mathematician named Charles Babbage conceived of a steam-driven calculating machine that would be able to compute tables of numbers.  The project was funded by the English government and was a failure.  More than a century later, however, the first computer was actually built in the world. In 1890, Herman Hollerith designed ...
