What is Quid Pro Quo, and what has to be present in order to determine that a Quid Pro Quo exists?  I wanted to take a blog to explain this to people who may not completely understand the subject. QUID PRO QUO - Something Given or Received for Something Else. I am going to use a term that is very important to the impeachment inquiry currently underway in Washington D.C.  The term is important because is makes the term Quid Pro Quo unnecessary.   It is Bribery.  The founders understood bribery as, "an officeholder's abuse of power of an office to obtain a private benefit rather than for the public interest." The title of this blog is interesting, because if you listen to the current Trump administration and many of his supporters from outside the administration, immigrants are coming over the border to infest our country.  Here is a very telling Tweet from our current President sent out yesterday: Trump Tweeted, "Democrats are the problem.  They don't care about crime and want illegal immigrants, no matter how bad they may be, to pour into and infest our country, like MS-13.  They can't win on their terrible policies, so they view them as potential voters."  Before I break this tweet down, I want to say that as of my writing this blog, there have been 25.9 thousand Retweets of this Trump Tweet and 98.5 thousand people liked the post.  That is greatly concerning to me as an American.
