I have been thinking quite a bit lately about some requests asked of me in recent weeks.  Three people asked at different times if I was ever going to write something positive about President Trump, as most all of my Blogs are centered around negative news regarding the president and those who are within his inner circle, as well as the things he has said and done that don't live up to the standards of the office he holds, or the definition of human decency.  The more I thought about the request, the more I became upset.  You see, over the past year-and-a-half, there have been a small handful of positive things that have come out of the Trump Presidency, but to me, none of that matters because of everything else.  Doing a couple of good things doesn't absolve all of the hate, lies, rhetoric, misogyny, bigotry, racism, arrogance, egotism, and narcissism.  A person like Trump, who refuses to stop outright lying to t...

TRUMP.  Let me tally up just some of the things...  1. Filed bankruptcy numerous times.  2. Has had countless business failures over decades that no one seems to talk about enough. 3. Has spoken over 4,300 lies and mistruths (and counting) since taking office a year and a half ago.  Has recently averaged around 8 lies per day and is getting worse. 4. Bragged about having power over women and being able to "grab them by the pussy." 5. Bragged about watching pageant contestants undress at his pageants. 6. Has been accused by many women of sexual harassment. 7. Referred to one of his accusers as not good enough for him to even consider.  8. Denigrated a war hero by saying that he prefers heroes who don't get captured. 9. Mocked a handicapped person. 10. Denigrated 2 minority gold star families. 11. During a celebration of the code talkers from the war, referred to a member of Congress as Pocaho...

Ok, we need to take a moment and unpack everything that happened with the whole Philadelphia Eagles fiasco.  So the Eagles, like every other championship team, were invited to come to the White House.  By the time the beginning of this week rolled around, only about 10 people from the Eagles organization had decided they were going to make the trip to the White House.  The others, for different personal reasons, had decided not to take the trip.  After finding that out, Trump cancelled the Eagles visit.  Last September, Trump started a fight in Huntsville, Alabama, by suggesting that the NFL owners fire athletes who don't stand for the National Anthem.  He said, "Wouldn't you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, 'Get that son of a bitch off the field right now.  Out.  He's fired.  He's fired.'" Today the President Tweeted, "As has been stated by numerous legal scholars, I have the absolute right to PARDON myself, but why would I do that when I have done nothing wrong?  In the meantime, the never ending Witch Hunt, led by 13 very Angry and Conflicted Democrats (& others) continues into the mid-terms!" Don't get me wrong, he Tweet Stormed many other Tweets over the weekend and today, but this is the one that stood out to me the most.  Why?  Because the President wants to make it clear to the world that he is above the law.  The President wants everyone to know that he feels he has absolute power in his position.  That is not OK.  The President is not Omnipotent or above the law. We have all heard it out of Trump's mouth and seen the term on Twitter countless times over the course of the Mueller Investigation; WITCH HUNT.  Donald Trump loves more than anything to refer to the Mueller Investigation as a Witch Hunt.  So the question I pose in the title of this blog is simple.  Is it a Witch Hunt?  First let me start with the dictionary definition of Witch Hunt: Merriam Webster defines Witch Hunt as 'The searching out and deliberate harassment of those (such as political opponents) with unpopular views.' Ever since the raid of Michael Cohen's home, office and hotel room weeks ago, he has become the focus of a very interesting investigation.  This investigation took on a life of its own, as Robert Mueller isn't handling it directly.  It was referred to the Southern District of NY to be handled, and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein signed off on the FBI raid of Cohen's residence, office and hotel room that started the process. As of April 28th, 2018, Donald Trump has told a total of 3001 Lies/Falsehoods.  I cannot call them all outright lies, because in some cases the misinformation may have come as a result of ignorance to subjects the President was talking about or simply a lack of vetting of the information being put out.  But one thing can be said for sure, and that is our current President, Donald Trump, has told lies on almost a daily basis since he took office, and on some days has told numerous lies.  I am writing this Blog today because it has been very hard for me to understand why Donald Trump still has a fairly sizable base of dedicated supporters.  I want to look back to before the election in 2016, back to when Donald was running against several Republicans, all of which were fighting for the Republican Nomination.  At that point Donald Trump was simply an afterthought.  The Republicans felt he would never be able to attain the Nomination and would simpl...
