Rudy Giuliani and his Wives

Let's start with Rudy Giuliani's current wife, Judith.  Rudy recently posted a comment, "It is with great sadness I can confirm that Judith and I are divorcing.  We hope to do this as amicably as possible, and hope that people will respect the privacy of our children at this time.  In these divorce situations, you cannot place blame, It is 50/50, there are problems on both sides."

Judith and Rudy were married in 2003 at a wedding now President Donald Trump attended.  Two years later, Rudy attended Trump's wedding to current wife Melania.

The interesting part about his current marriage to Judith is that it was born out of an affair.  Giuliani divorced his second wife, Donna Hanover, in 2002, after being separated for 2 years because of Giuliani's extra marital affair with his now wife Judith.

It seems that Judith has requested a divorce from Rudy now for the same reason.  Rudy had an extra marital affair with a married New Hampshire hospital administrator named Maria Rosa Ryan.  Interestingly enough, even after Rudy and Ryan were spotted getting comfortable at a resort hotel just 5 days before Judith and her husband separated, Giuliani denies the affair with the married Mrs. Ryan.  He simply said that he and Ryan had dinner and watched a movie at the posh spa, but claimed he was already "in effect separated" from Judith at the time.

His wife Judith replied in an angry statement, "My husband's denial of the affair with the married Mrs. Ryan is as false as his claim that we were separated when he took up with her."  It sounds to me like Judith doesn't agree at all with Rudy's 50/50 blame comment either.

So Rudy's second marriage ended because he had an affair, his third marriage is ending because he had an affair...but we haven't talked at all about his first marriage...and that is where things get a bit weird.

Rudy Giuliani was married for the first time to a woman named Regina Peruggi.  They were married from 1968 to 1982, so it was a long marriage that resulted in no children.  Here's where things get interesting.  In August of 1982, Rudy Giuliani filed for legal separation from Regina Peruggi, and a civil divorce was issued by the end of that year.  A Roman Catholic Church annulment of the Giuliani-Peruggi marriage was granted at the end of 1983 on the grounds that they had not obtained a church dispensation for SECOND COUSINS to marry.  Giuliani later said he had believed they were THIRD COUSINS.

So Rudy Giuliani married someone he had known all of his life, and who he knew he was related to.  He claims he thought Regina was a third cousin, although she was a second cousin.  Interesting stuff.

Now, I wanted to cover all of this for one reason.  Rudy Giuliani has been all over the news in the past weeks talking about Stormy Daniels and how she has no credibility because of the occupation she chose in life.  The horrible comments that Rudy has stood behind since making them really hold no weight when you look at Rudy's personal past.  He is a philanderer and a cheater, and two of his three marriages have ended or are ending because of extra marital affairs.  One could speculate that he was caught with Mrs. Ryan recently, but chances are that she was not the only one over the years.

This is the person the President of the United States has out there standing up for him in the media circuit.  This man is sick, disrespectful, and after hearing much of what he has had to say over the past months, probably a bit nuts.

The occupation someone chooses in life doesn't take away from who they are as human beings.  Because Stormy Daniels is an adult film actress makes her no less of a person than anyone else...including Rudy Giuliani.  In fact, the amount of strength and courage it has probably taken her to stand up and make this all public over the past many months tells me that Stormy is a very strong person, and they way she has handled it all adds to her credibility.  What takes away from someone's credibility is when they lie and mislead.

Rudy, you push conspiracy theories that aren't based on any factual information, and you push them as facts, even after they are completely debunked.  You still talk about SPYGATE, even though that was a Trump created term to describe something that DIDN'T HAPPEN.  You still talk about it as if it did, just like your buddy the President.  For you to go out and talk about people like Stormy Daniels as you do is laughable.

Wake up and look in the mirror, and you will see the only horrible person you need to worry about...yourself.

Trump and the DOJ Trying to Silence Mueller...

Mueller is set to sit in front of Congress on Wednesday this week and answer questions regarding the Mueller Investigation.  The DOJ, and organization that is supposed to look out for the best interests of America but has recently decided to become Trump's personal Law Firm, has sent correspondence to Mueller about what he can and cannot answer. For instance, you have the question of the 10 documented cases of obstruction in volume 2 of the report.  Mueller made it clear that he was bound by DOJ policy and could not indict a sitting president.  One very important question the Congressional Leadership will likely ask is, "If Donald Trump wasn't the sitting President, would you have indicted him based on the amount of evidence in the report?"  That question in every respect is fair.  You are asking the head of an investigation if they would have indicted someone had an arbitrary roadblock not been in place.  I say arbitrary roadblock because the policy is...

Electoral College

I have seen a ton of talk about the Electoral College in recent months.  The majority of Americans feel that going to a Direct Popular Vote like the rest of the world is the way to go.  Those on the Right seem to be completely against abolishing the Electoral College.  The question is why? The most common argument given is that we shouldn't let voters in all the big cities decide who is in office for the entire country, and that with Direct Popular Vote, those people who live in rural communities also get a say.  When you break down that argument, you quickly find all the holes that exist within it.  Let's start by talking about one other thing that is completely unfair in our current political system.  Let's look at the Senate. In the Senate, each State elects 2 Senators to go to Congress in Washington D.C.  Sounds fair right? Let's look at the most populous states and least populous states and how many people in each state Senators repres...

Dictators are Great! and other scary as hell things.

Most people weren't very happy with President Xi Jinping of China passing legislation for the ability of the President to rule indefinitely, but Donald Trump seemed to love it.  Donald Trump said, "He's now president for life.  President for life.  No, He's great, and look, he was able to do that.  I think it's great.  Maybe we'll have to give that a show some day." In July of 2016, Trump said of Saddam Hussein about killing terrorists, "He did that so good.  They didn't read them the rights.  They didn't talk.  They were terrorists. Over."  Granted, Trump did label him a bad guy as well, but had more good than bad to say about the former Ruler of Iraq.  Trump also said in 2016 that Libya would be better off, "if Moammar Giddafi were in charge right now."  Trump said that China, when they brutally cracked down on protesters in Tiananmen Square in 1989, "shows you the power of strength,"  He was using that as an e...
