I got to thinking pretty deeply about the political environment in the United States recently, and one thing lifted my spirits a bit. It seems that the current generation of politicians thinks solely of themselves, outside of some of the up-and-comers who have come onto the scene who truly look out for their constituents. What I have seen in recent, years, however, is a trend of high school age students and college age students becoming very politically aware and active and showing a true passion for changing the political landscape in the future. They care about the issues, realize that climate change is a real thing that we need to do something about, and care about ousting the politicians who are in it for themselves and who vote for no interests other than special interest groups and corporations who own their votes. I have been following a 16 year old politically active person on Twitter now for a year, and she has come forward with greater political knowledge...
